Announcing a CCAMP partnership with Department of Health and Family Welfare Services - Govt. of Karnataka and ACT towards implementing a “Comprehensive #Eye Care Program for #Karnataka using Innovative, Indigenous Health Technology”. Launched by Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Hon’ble Health Minister, Govt. of Karnataka, in the presence of Shri Ramalinga Reddy, Hon’ble Transport Minister, and Dr Taslimarif Saiyed, PhD, Dir-CEO C-CAMP, along with Sandeep Singhal, Board Member, ACT Capital Foundation, the project will kick off in Karnataka with funding support from ACT For Health and expected to impact nearly 10 Lakh underserved population. The program will deploy ophthalmic devices that utilize digital solutions and cloud-based tele-ophthalmic facilities in rural healthcare centres to reduce preventable blindness in a wide age group from 5 years up to 80 years. Additionally, it will support eye care for all public transport personnel in Karnataka through eye check-ups with the provision of free spectacles. ......
