Empowering Sustainable Financing: Highlights from the Bankers Conclave on PM-KUSUM We're excited to share the success of the recent Bankers Conclave, organized by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in partnership with IREDA Ltd., NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India , #IBA and #ShaktiFoundation. This event brought together key stakeholders to address barriers in financing the PM-KUSUM scheme, fostering collaboration and innovation. The conclave kicked off with MNRE sharing the vision, achievements, and the crucial role of financial institutions in PM-KUSUM. Insights from the field were provided by Shri Gaurav Gupta (ACS Energy, Karnataka) and Smt. Abha Shukla (ACS Energy, Maharashtra), who discussed their experiences and key takeaways from implementing KUSUM at the state level. A significant panel discussion, moderated by Shri Subrahmanyam Pulipaka (NSEFI), explored the current financing landscape, innovative trends, policy recommendations, and strategies to enhance bank participation in PM-KUSUM. Another insightful session, led by Shri Amit Kumar Singh Parihar (Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation) featured experts from NABARD - National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, IREDA Ltd., SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India) and others who delved into de-risking lending and accelerating finance for the scheme.
