Senior Flexonics’ hoses are available in two types of PTFE: non-conductive (white) and conductive (black). Black PTFE has been treated with carbon to make it electrically conductive for dissipation of static electricity. Series: SB - Medium Pressure Smooth Bore Hose Medium pressure (3000 PSI) hose is used in a wide spectrum of demanding compressed gas and industrial applications. It consists of an inner core of PTFE reinforced by an outer layer of stainless steel wire braid for strength and protection. Series SB hose is available in a non-conductive as well as a conductive core with a standard wall thickness of .030” or a heavy wall thickness of .040”. Series: MHP - Medium-high Pressure Smooth Bore Hose Medium-high pressure (4000 PSI) hose is a popular choice for use as pigtails in the compressed gas industry. These hoses are also ideal for use in the steel industry where they are subjected to rapid rate impulses that are common on tapping jacks, mud guns and Continuous Caster hydraulic systems. Series MHP hose has a conductive core surrounded by two layers of stainless steel wire braid. Our larger diameter hoses have up to four layers of stainless steel wire spiral wrap for added strength. Series: HP - High Pressure Smooth Bore Hose High pressure (5000 PSI) hose is used in a variety of applications, such as hydraulics, compressed gases, R.I.M. (reaction injection molding machines), urethane transfer and hot melt glue. Series HP hose has a conductive core with a single layer of stainless steel wire braid in the smaller diameters. Larger diameters are double-braided. Series: UHP – Ultra High Pressure Smooth Bore Hose Ultra high pressure (6000 PSI) hose is used in the same applications as our lower pressure series, but when a higher-pressure rating is required. Series UHP hose has a conductive PTFE core surrounded by two layers of stainless steel wire braid. Our larger diameter hoses have up to four layers of stainless steel wire spiral wrap for added strength. Series: WCP - Convoluted Pressure Rated Hose Our pressure rated convoluted hose is a popular choice for demanding applications in the chemical processing, pulp and paper, automotive and turbine engine industries. Series WCP is a helical, convoluted, non-conductive hose externally reinforced with PTFE impregnated fiberglass under a stainless steel wire braid reinforcement. Series BCP is similar but is made of conductive PTFE.
