A subsidiary of MCI Foods Ltd. Karim’s prides itself in cooking the Royal Mughlai food that was passed down from generation to generation. Displaced after the mutiny of 1857, Royal Mughal chefs took shelter in Farukhnagar, district Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Though they took up different occupations for their livelihood, the royal traditional recipes and techniques were passed down from generation to generation. Today, Karim’s is one of the top restaurants in Asia and is well known for its taste and authenticity. It has lived up to its aim of serving royal food to regular people. It is very popular for its meat-based curries, kormas, jalfrezis, and tandoori items and is now synonymous with melt in the mouth Mughlai royal cuisine.
